Betsie Lesher became the proud owner of Kitnit Fine Yarns on January 2, 2007. She worked part time at the Kitnit for 6 years learning a great deal under Jean’s excellent guidance. Betsie’s mission is to offer excellent service to all of her customers, create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, and provide a variety of quality yarn choices.

Our staff includes three part time employees— Sandy Healey, Nancy Grant, and Joni Soost. All three women are highly qualified to help our customers work out knitting problems, assist them with their purchases, and teach classes. They are very committed to bringing excellent service to our customers.

We are thrilled to have Paige Bagwell and Marta Ream teach classes for us. Both bring an abundance of knowledge, patience, and humor to the classroom making it a fun atmosphere in which to learn.

We are fortunate to have the many talents of Jolanda Dranchak at the Kitnit. Her talents include her fast fingers which knit our many samples, her design ability which has created some “Kitnit Originals,” and her artistic abilities which most recently gave us our new “modern knitting girl” logo.

Pat Bunker knits samples and does custom knitting for us. You can see her beautiful work throughout the store.
