November Classes
Beginner Class – (B) Thursday, Oct. 30, Nov. 6, 13, 20. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn the basics of knitting (knitting, purling, fixing mistakes, and "reading your stitches"). You will make a scarf in this class. $45.00
Shoulder Warmer – (AvB) Tuesday, Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Make a fun accessory for yourself or as a gift. Learn a new skill or just join the class to enjoy knitting with others. Instruction will include knitting in the round and increases. $45.00
Finishing Class – (AvB-E) Wednesday, Nov 5, 12, 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn finishing techniques so that the garments you knit look well-made from start to finish. $34.00. (Bring the following samples to the first class: 2 each: c/o 10 sts., st. st. for 8 rows. Leave on holders or needles; c/o 20 sts., K4 rows, st. st. for 8 rows. Leave on holders or needles; c/o 10 sts., st. st. for 6". Leave on holders or needles; c/o 10 sts., garter st. for 3". Leave on needles or holders).
Felted Slippers – (I) Monday, Nov. 10, 17, 24, Dec. 1, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Knit a pair of cozy, warm slippers for yourself or as a gift. You can make them with one color or two. You should already have experience knitting, purling, and reading a pattern. You will learn to do short rows, felting, and other unique techniques. $45.00
September and October Classes
Beginner Knitting – (2 options) Tuesday, Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m. OR Wednesday, Oct. 1, 15, 22, 29 10:00–12:00 noon. Learn the basics of knitting (knitting, purling, fixing mistakes, and "reading your stitches"). You will make a scarf in this class. $45.00
What Can I Do Next? – (AvB) Monday, Sept. 15, 22, 29, Oct. 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m. We are often asked "what can I do next" after taking the Beginner Class. This class is a perfect next step. You will start with a hat learning to use a circular needle, double pointed needles, and decreasing stitches and then continue on with a matching pair of fingerless gloves perfecting the use of the double pointed needles. $45.00
Socks on Double Pointed Needles – (I) Tuesday, Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct 7 10:00-12:00 noon. Learn the technique of making socks in the round by using double-pointed needles. $45.00
Socks Using the Magic Loop Method (1 circular needle) – (I) Tuesday, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn the technique of making socks in the round using one circular needle. $45.00
Three-Color Children's Sweater – (I) Thursday, Sept. 11, 18, 25, Oct. 2 10:00-12:00 noon. Make a children's sweater that incorporates three different colors. $45.00
Ladies First Sweater – (AvB) Thursday, Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30 10:00-12:00 noon. Learn to make your first sweater with our help! You will learn how to read a knitting pattern, shaping, making the garment fit, and how to put the pieces together. This class will teach you so much and will advance your skills to do all kinds of knitting projects. $45.00

Diamond Motif Vest – (P) Monday, Sept. 29, Oct. 6, 20, Nov. 3, 10 10:00-12:00 noon. This pattern uses modular knitting techniques. You will work with short rows as a way of shaping and follow a chart to get the diamond motif. Fun and interesting! Don't be afraid; with our help, you can do it! $56.00

Level of Experience
Beginner (B) – No experience necessary.
Advanced Beginner (AvB) – You know how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off.
Intermediate (I) – Have some experience reading a pattern, doing increases and decreases for shaping purposes.
Experienced (E) – You have done at least one garment, including finishing work, and are comfortable reading and comprehending patterns.
Proficient (P) – You have successfully completed several garments and are interested in more intricate designs and techniques
Class policies
Payment is required within three days of registering to hold your place in the class.
No refunds if you cancel less than 48 hours before class.
Materials are not included in class price and must be purchased at the Kitnit. You will receive a 10% discount on your purchase.
Students will receive 10% discount on all purchases for the length of their class.
