BEGINNER CLASS (offered two different times) – (B) Saturday, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 9:00-11:00 a.m. OR Thursday, April 5, 12, 19, 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn the basics of knitting and take home a finished scarf. This class is for the absolute beginner or for someone who hasn’t knit in many years and wants to learn the proper techniques from the beginning. $60.
BABY HAT AND BOOTIES: (AvB) Thursday, March 8, 15, 22, 29, 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is a good class to take after you have learned the basics of knitting. In this class you will learn to knit with circular and double pointed needles, shaping, picking up stitches, and a lot more. $60.
SWIRL HAT: (AvB) Saturday, March 31, April 14, 9:00-11:00 a.m. After taking the Beginner Class or if you know how to knit and purl but not much more, this is a good class to take. It will teach you more skills such as increases, decreases, picking up stitches, and knitting in the round. Adorable design that can be made for children through adult sizes. $30.
WURM HAT: (AvB) Wednesday, March 14, 28, 10:00-12:00 noon. Popular design on Ravelry that makes a great second project after learning to knit. Check out our model in the store to see how cute it is in the yarn we chose. $30.
FINISHING CLASS: (I and beyond) Tuesday, March 6, 13, 20, 10:00-12:00 noon. The class we all need at some point. This class teaches you the proper methods to seam your garments so that the end result is a handmade sweater you are proud to wear or give as a gift. $45.
YOUR FIRST SWEATER (children’s sizes): (AvB) Monday, March 19, 26, April 9, 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m. This class is geared to the person who wants to knit their first sweater. You will learn the importance of gauge, decreases, increases, picking up stitches, a simple cable design up the fronts, and finishing—all in a compact size made to fit a child from newborn to size 6. Challenge yourself and take this class. You will learn so many skills. $60.
MAGIC LOOP SOCK CLASS: (I) Tuesday, March 20, 27, April 10, 17, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn how to make socks using the Magic Loop method (one long circular needle). If you are not a fan of using double-pointed needles, this is the method for you! Once you know the technique, you can use it on any project in which double-pointed needles are called for: hats, mittens, sleeves, etc. The socks are unbelievably warm and make a great gift. $60.
SERIES OF CLASSES FROM KNIT NORO ACCESSORIES BOOK: (I) We are planning a series of four classes from the Knit Noro Accessories Book, each class learning a new technique. Take as many as you want. The class will require the purchase of the book at 20% off.
#1 MODULAR NECK WRAP: Monday, March 5 (2 hrs), 12 (1 hr), 19 (1 hr), 10:00-12:00 noon. Learn Modular Knitting with this neck wrap. $30.
#2 ENTRELAC MITTENS: Monday, April 2 (2 hrs), 9 (2 hr), 16 (1 hr), 30 (1 hr) 10:00-12:00 noon. Learn the Entrelac technique with these mittens. See how Noro yarn makes the most out of this technique by forming bold blocks of color. $45.

SERIES OF CLASSES FROM TEXTURED STITCHES BOOK by Connie Chang Chinchio: (I) We are planning a series of three classes from this book of beautiful designs from a talented young designer. Take one, two, or all three classes. The class will require the purchase of the book at 20% off.
#1 PROFESSORESSA CARDIGAN: (I) Tuesday, March 6, 13, April 3, 24, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wide front bands featuring an argyle motif make this cardigan special. The front bands are knit simultaneously with the body, which is worked in a single piece. With some short-rows and simple ribbing, the sweater will hug your neck and fit beautifully. $60.

CLASS PICTURES
Level of Experience
Beginner (B) – No experience necessary.
Advanced Beginner (AvB) – You know how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off.
Intermediate (I) – Have some experience reading a pattern, doing increases and decreases for shaping purposes.
Experienced (E) – You have done at least one garment, including finishing work, and are comfortable reading and comprehending patterns.
Proficient (P) – You have successfully completed several garments and are interested in more intricate designs and techniques
Class policies
Payment is required within three days of registering to hold your place in the class.
No refunds if you cancel less than 72 hours before class.
Materials are not included in class price and must be purchased at the Kitnit. You will receive a 10% discount on your purchase.
